The Community
As Australian Standard adopters, Hillery Group undertakes the necessary safety and environmental precautions to ensure we comply with all industry regulations. We uphold the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (QLD) and abide by the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 (QLD) and the Coal Mine Safety and Health Regulation 2017 (QLD).
With a fully-developed occupational health and safety plan, all of our employees receive appropriate training on how to safeguard their health and wellbeing, as well as the environment. Our environmental management system is designed to educate staff on the waste and pollution management procedures we implement in our work and recycling practices.
